Please consider helping putting out tables and chairs or becoming a Meeter & Greeter at our Monthly Meetings.

With only a few more helpers it'll make the tables/chairs process much quicker.

 SOLD OUT!!!!!!

Tickets will be available at August's monthly meeting (19th) and Fridays up to the event between

10:00 and 11:00 at Eversley Park Centre (Sherburn) and T-Post (South Milford).

Help us celebrate a semblance of normality after lockdown restrictions have been eased.

We'll be in the Eversley Park Centre from 3PM 'til 7PM. You'll have a choice (pre-selected)

of Cheese & Onion, Chicken & Mushroom, Mince & Onion, Steak and Pork Pies. With

mushy peas of course or baked beans if preferred.

Time for a good chat with many you've not seen for a long time and you'll be entertained

by Singing for Fun and 2 Shades of Grey.

The Family History group is aiming to re-start with a new group leader. If you would be interested in joining or re-joining this group, please contact the U3A Groups Coordinator to register your interest email: groupscoordinator@sherburnu3a.org or contact Eric Jackson direct at:

Eric has over 40 years experience of genealogical research; and is the current secretary of the Pontefract and District Family History Society; He has given talks on family history research and is a past member of the Executive Committee of the Family History Federation. The new Family History group will aim to cater for all experience levels from the absolute beginner up to the more experienced researcher, including advice on how to conduct family history research without using a computer..
